Overview
Situated in the Himalayas, Spiti Valley lies in the northeastern part of Himachal Pradesh state, India.
Accessibility: Not really an easy to reach place because roads leading toward Spiti are normally dangerous and sometimes closed due to snow for several months. The nearest main town with good communication is Manali located about 200 km away.

Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit the valley is from June to September because the weather is pleasant and roads are open. However, even during this time, temperatures can drop below freezing at night, so visitors should come prepared for cold weather.
