Ramsetu

The Ram Bridge, also known as the Adams Bridge, is a series of natural limestone bridges connecting the Pamban Island near Rameshwaram in India and the Mannar Island in Sri Lanka It is believed to have been built by the army of Lord Rama the ancient structure of Hindu mythology filled with this to save Sita from the demon king Ravana. The district is a major pilgrimage hub, with Rameshwaram’s Ramanathaswamy temple attracting many devotees.
